The Tamiya bike kits are lovely. I built my brother one many years ago. This will just fall together for you.
I'm a mostly full-time modeller put a part-time poster....

Agree with above, if you can't build a 3 dimensional day dream out of one of these, there is something wrong with you.
I wish, that I knew what was doing!

Should look nice once it's done. Tamiya make some good bike kits.

I am rather biased when it comes to motorcycles but this is looking very nice indeed.
Looking forward to further progress with this model .

Nice one. I believe these bikes were sold in Britain as the RD500LC YPVS during the 1980's and the real machines are now very collectable. Great to see a model of one being built
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Absolutely right Shaun. Yamaha had the RD500LC while Suzuki had the RG500 Gamma. Both were based on Moto GP racing bikes, cost an arm and a leg to run and now fetch rather silly prices on the second hand market.ShaunW wrote:Nice one. My cousin had an RG500 in the 80's and I had a few goes on it. Quite an amazing machine to ride, but it did have rather a thirst for fuelDazzled wrote:Absolutely right Shaun. Lambretta, personally I reckon it would be great if someone actually made a..Lambretta! I'm sure they'd make a popular subject, and the later models would, like many aircraft, be so easy to issue in different versions, with lots of potential for after-market bits and customising.
I have actually recently been eyeing up Ebay for an Italeri small-frame Vespa, but hard to come by and a bit expensive.

I apologize for the delay ..
This is the most difficult job, wrap the colours to divide them from each other
The colour is ok. I proceed with the decals!
