The new Revell Midget Racer

Post by jssel »

Here are a couple of pictures of the new release Revell Midget Race. A very nice kit with no issues to report.

Scale Auto building is not my thing, but I had to try one out.

IIRC this is a bit of Revell Classic and has been around along time. Nicely built.

As per the Revell Catolog:

1/25 Kurtis Kraft Offenhauser Midget Racer & Trailer Plastic Model Kit
Product ID: 85-4267

Overview
Skill Level: 3
Scale: 1/25
Length: car - 4 5/8", trailer - 5 5/8"
Parts: 112

Description
Kurtis-designed and "Offy"-equipped. Founded in the late 1930s, Kurtis Kraft was one of the most premier producers of race cars during the sport's formative years. When the company partnered with Offenhauser engines, the pair produced multiple championship-winning racers over a course of 20 years, forever cementing each company's place in auto history. Kit features a removable hood with a detailed Offenhauser engine, a choice of carburetors or fuel injection, a two-wheel trailer with opening loading ramps, chrome-plated parts, black vinyl tires and decals with optional trim and numbers, plus graphics for two vehicles.

Thanks for the comments
