Re: A Big Kat
Excellent work Darryl. I remember those two-tone big Kat seats and you've done a great job of replicating one there. Overall I think this model looks real enough to jump on and ride away
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: A Big Kat
Thanks again for the kind comments chaps. They're always appreciated.
Tonight brought an opportunity for a modelling session that I grabbed with both sweaty paws .
There were a few bits to finish off, including the rear brake and gear change pedals that slipped my mind .
Other than these I sorted out the footpegs, screen, number plate, indicators, headlight lens, mirrors and the last few small decals.
And.......
...it's done
I have to say that it's been a nice journey building the Kat. A journey in which I got my modelling Mojo restored leaving me keen for the next kit.
Time to clean up the bench, I think.

Re: A Big Kat
That shiny, unflawed (to me) finish is, well, spectacular ... I am so jealous ...

Re: A Big Kat
That is a beautiful big Kat Darryl, you've made a really excellent job of that kit. If I didn't know any better I would have thought the first three pics were taken in a Suzuki dealer's showroom back in the 80's (I can see model boxes in the last shot ), such is the level of realism that you've achieved with this build.
