I thought I should also start a topic here to follow the build.
I got the white on yesterday and green on today. I am pleased with the masking job. The areas with a little bleed/overspray will be chromed.
There is lots of chrome on the car, as there was with the beautiful cars of this era.
The interior will probably consist of green and white too. I have not studied the kit yet but it looks to be another good one from AMT.
More to come later...

Fairlane was gloss coated today. This dries slowly so I'm leaving it overnight in the greenhouse. Tomorrow I can bring it in, and decide whether to progress now or put it away for a while.

Oddly enough I think the spray can with clear gloss has seen it's last days. One side got glossy, but the other side became matt, more than it was before! How is that possible?
Can almost empty so it was binned.
I will just have to go over with several coats of Klear on the other side. Possibly with airbrush, but will practice first on a spare car. I wonder if water with washing up liquid is enough to remove Klear from airbrush?
Bad pic (green is not that bright) but here is the glossy side.
