A continuation of the original sign-up topic in GB Chat.

The eligible aircraft are:
- Postwar (1946 and up) Seafires/Spitfires.
- Historical markings only, no what ifs.
- Any kit, but 1/72 scale only.

Your GB Leader will fill in any details.

Have Fun !!!

All the best.

I wouldn't be much of a moderator if I didn't join in with my own build. Thus, it shall be a Spitfire Mk. XVIe by Heller and flown out of Biggin Hill by No.19 Sqdn in September 1946.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

I'll be building my Sword Seafire 17 for definite and might even have a go at an Aeroclub Seafire 17 to use up one of the other options on the decal sheet. Failing that then I have an Airfix Spitfire 22 to do :-D , now who was it who said you can't have enough Spitfires......

I'm pretty sure it was Sh*** who started the saying, but lets just all blame Ian shall we? :-D

Sounds very interesting, can't wait to see your build. I'm fond of anything Israeli.

Hi all,

I'm still learning my way around here but I'd like to jump in too if you have room for another Airfix F.22 (that'll be number 5?).

Wasn't reading 1/72 scale for some reason. Selective vision. So....I have the Fujimi Mk XIX (RAF)which could have a low back conversion. Would that make it a Mk XVIII?

Hi,

I was looking for a simple build for March, so I may join with an Airfix Spit 22 or a Fujimi Spit XIV or later . . .

regards,

Martin
