Decals arrived today & very nice they are too.

Hopefully this one should end up looking like my 1/48 Spitfire I made a couple of years back:

They are Mark 1 decals & I am very impressed - although I have not applied any yet!

I got them from Hannants:
http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/DMG7201

They were £9 which is more than I would usually pay but I will use them to build 3 Spits at least.

I might even do an RAF one if I like this Airfix kit.

If you need any of the RAF markings just PM me.

I can see I forgot something on my blitzed F.22 (but I can blame the pace of the blitz for that). Forgetting to paint back of canopy green. Oops.
Atleast I got the tricolored lights right!

Thats a bind. IK am sure you will sort it.

This one is slowly coming together at work, as my lunchtime build.

I just need to mask off the main canopy & get that attached.
Get the cannons on and she is ready to paint. 8-)

Nice work OT. This would make a cool dogfight double with a IAF Spit!
Following a few others members builds of this kit, the fit looks an improvement on the PR.XIX kit, especially the wing/fuselage join.

It's very kind of you to say that but I managed to crack the bubble hood whilst masking it!

Fortunately the modelling gods anticipated my 'Ham-fisted' antics & supplied a spare.

But that didn't fit so good.

This is probably down to me but a bit of PVA should sort it.
