Sissels Norwegian PR XI *** Finished ***

Post by Sissel »

This will be my build. MPM kit with Norseman decals.
As I blitzed the F.22 and the only other Spit I have in the stash is one I will build into Rolf Arne Berg's personalised RAF machine, Norwegian wing, during war 1944, I will only be entering with one kit.

Image

PS: The black Spit didn't sneak into the photoframe, I promise. Had an accident with one prop knocking off yesterday (I blame the blitzbuild), so was just about to fix it back on.
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

That is sorta correct and I have the right FS number laying around somewhere... I never misplace notes!
Have only done a little background check so far. I have several links and stuff to read, but first I'm gonna finish a few kits on the bench, I hope.

Looking forward to the build. Now, I may have to pick one up myself. While some may have enough Spitfires, there's always room for one of each variant. :)
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Love the planned colour scheme Sissel  I've never built an MPM kit before so it'll be great to see how they compare to other short-run manufacturers.

The Spit is a XVIe 1/48 from Italeri.

Or under a mountain? Hehe, no.. I guess Norwegian aircraft is not the most built out there. I like the roundals myself :)

I've never built a MPM kit before either. I think this is a pretty good kit.

I'm still recovering from my operation, will probably start this build late next week.

Thanks very much gyus. I can stand and walk around a little without feeling dizzy or nautious, and the pain isn't as bad, so that's a good thing. Tuesday I'm going back for a few things and I will be feeling 100% soon after that.
After Tuesday I will finish a model (just needs decalling), then start this. 9th of March already, crikey!
