As promised here is the latest picture from the bench:

Decals are on the upper surfaces, underside will be done tomorrow. Exhaust stacks and gun barrels fitted though I still need to paint the barrels. Undercarridge has been pre-painted ready for fitting at the end of the build and the canopy has been polished and Kleared. The end is in sight for this Seafire

Looking Good Tom. So is a MK.46 essentially the same as a MK.22/24?

I'm not very well up on Spitfire/Seafire MK's, I need to get myself a book or two on it.
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...

Thanks all of you

James - It was seeing your finished example that made the choice of marking option for me, the aircraft just looks so classy in these colours.

Stuart - Pretty much a navalised Mk.24, changes included the stinger rudder, low altitude Griffon, FAA internal equipment and undercarridge modifications. Difficult to tell the difference with a quick glance though (apart from the great big contra-prop on the nose ;-) )

Nice. That grey scheme looks good with full colour roundals.

I did my Sea Fury in the same scheme as well and very tempted to do the Firebrand I have too.

Stunning! Great grey shade, and very attracive with yellow on roundel edges.
