Splash's Seafire Mk XV ***Finished ***

For post-war Spitfires and Seafires, any kit as long as it's 1/72 scale.
Runs March 1st to April 1st.

It confuses me sometimes :-D current Seafires on the bench are a Mk46, Mk47 (both converted from the Airfix Spitfire Mk22)and this Mk XV.

Pluss the Whiff Sea Mustang that's looking more like a Seafire every day :shock:

Once they are finished I will take a group photo.

Very nice indeed, an interesting scheme. Why the different roundals?

Awesome work Splash. I love the idea of the replacement wing being fitted, it certainly makes for a conversation piece.

I believe the a/c was painted in the new style DSG/Sky but was given a replacement wing from an earlier a/c that had the DSG/D Slate Grey colours hence the two different wings and markings.

I thought it might make a change from the normal DSG/Sky.
