Cheers Mark. I'm on the way with two of them but I do want to try and get the three finished still. We'll see what happens with that though. If I can't find the aftermarket sheet for the 22 that I have some place I will do it as the cammo one but without the race markings as I already blitzed the silver one a while back.

All the best.

Just a heads up to say I haven't forgotten about this build and I will be attacking the three models tonight whilst Sarah is having a girlie night in at a friends place.

All the best.

Ok, no guesses yet. clue - Here's the finished pics of the Spitfire as it flew during it's first post restoration flight.

As you can see the Airfix canopy wasn't a perfect fit even after heating and splaying out but the low back conversion sort of worked. The gun barrels have been altered so the longer barrels are outboard. On with the MKIX now.

All the best.

Cheers Jeff.
I've just started to decal the MKIX and the decals have shattered  I'm leaving it alone and putting the model stuff away for tonight.
The MKXIV is G-FIRE before it was painted in the red, white and blue scheme.

All the best.

Decals always seem to shatter at the worst possible time, especially when you have a 'deadline' to meet.

Thanks Sissel.
I will have a look through my decal stash and go for a generic IAF scheme and sort the unit markings out at a later date. With luck I may get some model time later today.

All the best.

Well. I got one out of three done and one almost done. never mind. The IAF one will be finished later and I have put the MK22 away for a while.
Cheers for watching and commenting.

Thanks Sissel. Much appreciated. It'll get finished one day soon. I'm planning on doing another model of G-FIRE this time in it's all red colours with white and blue stripes.

All the best.

I hate it when decals spoil a good build...Look forward to seeing your G-FIRE, I remember the real one well.
