Saxon's Airfix PR 19 **DONE**
Saxon's Airfix PR 19 **DONE**
Ok so when I accidently glued the cowling incorrectly on my Fujimi MK14E and thought it was due to wrong parts : , I put it aside and started the Airfix PR 19, so now I will have 2 build threads so I can go onto even better mistakes like gluing the parts from one onto the other and posting MK14E pics on the PR thread and vice versa!
Anyway here goes with the PR 19, compared to the Fujimi kit this is a dream, no over engineering and quite simple. Actually the Fujimi is simple as well, just over engineered.
so progress pics from yesterday and today
Box shot

Nice work, however I did notice a lack of a cockpit.... Do you not normally add them? if so, why am I bothering - I hate cockpits!!!!!!! (Awnser - because I'm an idiot)

Thanks for the comments.
Yes you are right SirT, I didn't put the cockpit in, I sometimes paint my canopies a solid colour, like black for eg so there is no point in doing interiors. Even when I do, put them in they tend to be pretty basic, I'm not much for spending time on areas which can't be seen well or at all.

Going by the last Airfix PRXIX I did the cockpit is barely visible, can't really fault you!

Looking great there! Both look really neat.
Re: Saxon's Airfix PR 19 **DONE**
Finished, no problems with this kit, just a note though, it doesn't come with the aerial on the fuselage so you have to make it yourself, I decided to go with fishing line.
