Cheers Tom, I'm not sure that I will be able to resist the temptation to build the other one I have, as it's to much fun and the wife is away for the best part of a week.

This is almost a shake and bake kit, the floats fit like a glove and the wings just push into place.

Hmm looks like I might have to add this to my buy list for 2014!
Will get one with floats as I've not done that before.

Carry on with the great work, Splash.

Repeat after me " I must read the instructions first" " I must read the instructions first" " I must read the instructions first" " I must read the instructions first".

Having test fitted the folded wings and taken them off again I thought lets stick the top wing end blanks in place, it was not until a couple of hours latter that I realised they go on after the wing is fitted so as to lock the wing in place. Dhoooooooo to get them to fit I have now had to trim the wedge shaped piece so it will now fit the smaller hole.

Oh boy oh boy I just HAVE to comment on this! :-D

MEN NEVER READ INSTRUCTIONS, ITS IN YOUR VEINS!

Instructions (on anything) are made for women, cause they're often complex or non-understandable (as we are).

Sissel you are so right, I thought the instructions are there just to pack out the box and protect the parts from sliding around in transit :ha: :ha: :ha:

On the bright side, all the years of not following the instructions, has improved my fix the mistakes skills

Just a quick test to see what it will look like when its finished, the wings are just pushed in place. I'm at the stage where progress will slow down till I sort out some call sign numbers to put on top of the yellow bands.

The delay only gives me one option and that's to start another :-D to fill in the time.

Oh, very nice! Just to check, is that torpedo trolley in Hu.109? It was one colour recommendation I was unsure of but actually looks good
