Thanks guys, now have to see if they all fit, the front gunner was a squeeze.
Just reminded me about a bit in John Sweetman's book on the Dambusters, he has this passage:

Bumpy at low level you know Andrew..AndrewR wrote:They look great Jim. But what on earth is the bloke on the right doing?
Just reminded me about a bit in John Sweetman's book on the Dambusters, he has this passage:
There was an unpleasant side-effect of the continuous low-flying for the crews too, to which the squadron medical officer could personally testify after a trip with Maudsley on April 25: airsickness. Fg Off M.W. Arthurton was therefore sympathetic to requests for "appropriate medication" from other sufferers.

Cemented the crew in, the nav and engineer needed some arm surgery, and I had to move the pilot seat back quite a bit.
The fuselage halves are just clamped to hold the crew while the cement goes off. It's pretty close in that cockpit.
Cheers

Looks great, and best of all, with the large, clear canopy, it should actually be very visible on the completed kit. Should really make things look lively.Jagewa wrote:Cemented the crew in, the nav and engineer needed some arm surgery, and I had to move the pilot seat back quite a bit.

Very nice Jim. Are you using the kit transparency, or a vac form one?
cheers

Re: Jim's AJ A
Thanks Andrew, using the kit one, I like the look of the kit transparencies, they are quite clear. Though not bothering with the fuselage ones, they sit a bit deep, so I'll just try to pva those.

Jim,
It's looking great so far! I love the work on the turret interior, and the usual accomplished job you make of animating and painting your aircrew. Keep it up. I can't wait to see more!
You're also giving me the motivation to do the last few things to finish my Grand Slam Lanc!
regards,
Martin

Thanks Martin, I'm looking forward to you finishing the Lanc too, though I'm embarrassed about the Stirling I didn't finish for that GB, the cockpit and crew where the block for me there, but I must say I've enjoyed these ones.
Cheers
