Nicely done Narayan. I use whatever varnish is applicable to the paints that I've used - usually Humbrol gloss coat over enamels and Tamiya or Vallejo gloss coat over acrylics. It just helps to protect the paint from the greasy residue that blu-tak can sometimes leave, particularly on matt paints (you can guess how I discovered that could happen  ).
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Looks good Narayan. I find it easier to mask and paint the stripes, rather than use decals. But that's just me...

cheers

Thanks Shaun / Andrew,

I wanted to try out the decals as I've had some success with white decals in the past. Not this time however so in future I think I would paint the invasion stripes rather than use decals.

Here we are at the moment.

Keep at it Narayan, you should end up with a good finish here.

All finished! This was a nice kit. The invasion stripe decals look better in the pictures than they actually are. In furture I'll be painting those.

Nice result.
Interesting how we got the camo pattern almost identical, but the actual colour very different, despite obviously working towards exactly the same goal.
