Oh yay it is up!

I will be enterering with two P-51s and a F-82. Will be starting mid May when I'm back from holiday, unless I've been kidnapped there! :-D
Will rummage through the cabinet and take some pics of my built Mustangs.

Ready to go, will Build four Airfix new tools starting with an OOB build of a Dominican AF machine and then I think an Israeli Mustang followed by the Korean War aeroplane flown by Dean Hess, both using Esci decals. If there is time I will make the RAF machine as an OOB build.

Thanks for the info Jeff. I'll have to see if I can locate the correct codes somewhere.

One of my friends, who grew up around Birmingham when the local Air Guard unit flew RB-26 Invaders at tree top level, mentioned that the F-51Ds had the panel lines in the wings filled with putty, buffed out and painted so there should be no panel lines on the wings. According to him, it was due to the laminar wing and improved the lift. Does anybody have any information on which panels were filled in?

Thanks
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!
