Its coming together now.

I didn't bother altering the tail flaps as time is pressing on.
Hopefully I can get the canopy cleared today & attached. Then on to the masking.

Just realized that I still have to fit the gun sight!

Odd looking Spit OT. But in any way it looks great so far :)

Thanks for all the advice guys. Not that I think you are wrong but I got the impression from SWAMBO that if I disappeared to the man cave I would have my balls ripped off!

I still managed to sneak away long enough to get a coat of primer on though. :smilie_flagge3:

This revealed a couple of issues that required filling & sanding then primer again. Thatis where I am up to.

Assuming that looks ok once dry - on with the silver paint.
Also this week two job interviews I should be prepairing for so updates may be slow. sorry.

Indeed, great dedication there OT - there should be a modelling medal awarded for that kind of bravery :ha:

See, I told you she'd understand. :ha:

Good luck with your interview preparation. Don't forget to pretend you believe in "competency based" interviews!

Thanks Martin, interviews are over for now so on with the important things in life - plastic bashing. :ha:

I got a coat of primer on, I don't like this stuff, way too dark. I painted the anti-glare panel black & wing-tips etc an orange yellow colour. Not exactly correct but good enough for Jazz.

Image

Next I masked them off & applied the silver. Two coats then unmasked.

Image

Not too bad. A few touch ups required, exhaust area to paint then unmask the canopy.

More to follow. :smilie_flagge3:

The silver looks to have gone on nice and smooth OT, should be a smart looking 'Stang once it's done.
