Agreed. That silver does look great. Very smooth.
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

Disaster!
I somehow managed to drip glue onto the lovely silver paintwork. So I have had to sand the wing down again.
My own fault as ever.
It just puts me behind a bit so I will struggle to complete on time now. Mask off & re-spray tonight.

Oh no, isn't that typical.
You will make it look just as beautiful though. And there is still plenty of time left, I tell myself anyhow...

Re: This Spitfire is a funny shape!
It is all coming together now. I repaired the paintwork as best I could although I had to do some rescribing which I hate. I applied a klear coat and have started to get the decals on.
The decals behaved really well. The only issue is that the sharks teeth decals don't meet on the underside & will require a touch up with paint.
I just need to find an aerial - I snapped the original , paint the lights, fit U\C doors, klear coat & fit the exhausts.
I think I will also matt coat the black paintwork. Should be done by the end of the day.

O_T,
Looking really good, sir.
Re the aerial issue, I snapped both of mine too! Having one moulding stub might have been a better move.
regards,
Martin

Sorry guys. Just too much going on here right now so I did not finish & I don't want to rush it just to complete on time.

Yep I agree, it does look great, and no need to rush to make a deadline (allthough I did this time, but that was for other reasons).
