After a set of nights in the office here are some more pics of progress!

The Albatros is pretty much done. Just need to repaint the tyres. I forgot this was a 1940's machine and painted them light grey! Then add the wheels, the prop and add some swastikas to the tail.

I've made a start on Heinz Barr, too.

Should be complete this week!

As for the -109, well...... Painting and decalling of the aircraft is complete.

Just need to add all the bits and pieces, prop, wheels, balance weights, balance weights, aerial. And Von Richthofen, of course!!

Getting there!

Both look great. Like you say, and you can say it again: Anything looks great in German markings. Even German planes. :-D
Looking at the scheme of the Messie, I get tempted to start my Albatroses quicker than planned. But need a break first. :)
Excellent work, Ian!

What's that pilot pointing at?

That's not Heinz Barr, it's Jean-Luc Picard! :ha:

And why has von RIchthofen got a stocking mask over his head? Is he going to rob a bank?

Nice work!

Thanks Stuart.

These are both getting very close now. Both pilots are in place and all I have left to do is to mattcote the Albatros and add the gear doors and mattcote the wings of the -109. No more pics till they're finished!

20 days is most certainly not Blitzing, Sissel. But I know what you mean. Small updates with no pics. And you just want to see what they look like!!
