Bad luck with the F.22 Stuart but that -104 is looking really nice. Can't wait to see it finished!

Thanks Ian, I'm not sure if I should add the missiles or not, they look pretty toy like....

That looks brilliant Stuart! I love the way you've 'stretched and squashed' (respectively) the Hawk camo to fit the Starfighter's longer fuse and shorter wings, really inventive.

Also, it's a very nice paint finish you've achieved with your hairy stick. Wish I could brush paint like that, then I wouldn't have had to spend my money on an airbrush!

I am definitely going to hunt down a 104, either Airfix or Matchbox, such a characterful aircraft, especially when surrounded by all the tales of bribes and back-handers and being pretty challenging to pilot it as well!

Nice work buddy,

What you doing next? Go on, do the A7, you know you want to! :-D

I would add them, Stuart. Google AIM-9 images and paint them accordingly. They have never been all white. Maybe add some stripes of colour (any old decal stripes you can use?). It will improve them no end and get rid of the 'toy' look.

Thanks Ian and Andrew, will do! Actualky I have airfix sidewinder decals that may help.

Mr Zee, you wouldn't say that if you saw it up close, the green is pretty poor!

Next build is likely to be this

maybe a dual build with the A-7?

I think you've done a great job with the camo on the Starfighter.
Looks smooth and nice. And you brush painted with Humbrol acrylics?! Wow, I'm impressed!

I tried a brown color on a Spitfire once, and I had problems with the paint being thick (thinning didn't help me), and it wouldn't brush on nicely. Came on thick and wobbly. I'm now only using my Humbrol acrylics for interior and smaller bits, as me and them plus a brush just don't work together. :-D
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

Lol god I must take a good photo! The grey is humbrol rattle can and the green is thick, one coat and very bumpy! But thank you for your kind words.

I'm going to shelf this for a few days whilst I do something else - I'll get it done by the end of the GB though

Cheers
