Of course, true on all counts. But just for checking alignments and such. :ha:

Painting is completed now. Hopefully tonight I will get the landing gear on (they were painted this morning and drying). Than a fresh photo shoot. I know-- :nopix

Overall impressions remain the same. A underrated kit on most all counts.

Looking good so far Jeff.

I have a Meteor III in my stash, I might have to get it out soon - seeing all these Meteors in the GB is making me want to frotter... :)

I built one a while back but just before I finished it, I dropped it and it ended up in the bin

Keep up the good work!!

Well, sorry for no pictures but I am proud to say that it sits on all threes after all. A great moment in model building.

An historic moment, indeed - I think all of our Meteors have been nosewheel sitters so far!

Decaling is mostly completed now. Attention to the wing walks begins. I will be using the subject divider lines from old Airfix decal sheets for the thin lines.

I am calling this one done.

Having the fear of not using enough weight in the nose unfounded, I believe this is a much under-rated Airfix kit. Fair amount of detail for the scale and yet leaving enough space for a little scratch building. Overall I loved it.

Not much extras added. Drilled out the gun muzzles, detailed the wheel wells and added what I think is the IFF aerial on the spine. Everything else was in the box.

Thanks for looking everyone and now it is on to the Blitz.
