Dark Earth is done, well enough - Dark Green tomorrow.

I had to go help a friend build some benches for a neighborhood park today.

Working on DG, probably need tomorrow to get that right.
I don't see me finishing until Saturday, so don't hold this open on my account.

Well, with three of you almost done, I'm inclined to keep it open 'til close of play, Saturday.

Well, I'm officially a DNF, Paul has called time, and I agree because there is no guarantee that I would finish by Saturday. Regardless, still plugging away and might as well record it while I can.

It seems that today's coat of DG took well enough and the masking has come off.

I have two things scheduled this afternoon/evening, but what time I can squeeze in will be to clean up the paint job so I can get ready for decals. About time I got the canopy on, so I can paint it. Might want to paint the antenna, now that I've finally remembered to put it on ....

Yesterday (Friday) got unexpectedly busy but more important I got the "shakes" and couldn't wield a brush at all, happens once in a while. Anyway, I managed to get the paint touched up and the edge of the canopy painted - didn't even try internal framing.

And today didn't start well, so I just now got a coat of Future on it. The national markings would have been fine without it, but the circle-P isn't great, I had trouble with this sheet before - I can't wait to get the new Xtra-Decal sheet.

Sorry, no pix, wait till I get the decals on.

National insignia.

The circle-P & serials will be tomorrow, followed by a dull (satin?) coat .... Maybe some other touchups before ... and of course add the landing gear ....

Tried hard to screw up by grabbing the blue label decal film instead of the blue-label decal set and globbing it on the top wing - I think I got it off OK.

Still a DNF, but a bit closer.
