Thanks for that Zee, I'm going to go with the Humbrol 11 but appreciate the advice.

OK, I got the fuselage together (after adding more nose weight) and this one and all it's parts are now back in it's box.

I'm heading back to Blighty tomorrow for a couple of weeks and the Meteor is coming with me. I have a couple of progress shots to upload but they will have to wait. Packing, getting the kids sorted, that sort of nonsense is getting in the way at the moment.

Previously I had put some more weight behind and below the pilot. The fusalage went togther with minimum fuss.

Since then I have start to put the wings togther. This is a bit slow going and requires quite a bit of filling.

A lot of filling and filing done today.

I like this kit. It does need a bit of work but so far it's rewarding. So far.

It's looking good, I enjoyed building mine not that long ago just after Revell re boxed it.

Keep up the good work.

Looking good so far Narayan, really sweet. Good call on the nose weight, it needs a lot!

Just done it on time. In hindsight maybe doing a group build while on holiday wasn't the greatest idea but I'll know for the future not to do so. Having said that I've really enjoyed building this kit, there have been ups and downs but it's there now. Also a few days ago I even sat in the cockpit of a Meteor!

Somehow I managed to lose a decal aswell but there's nothing I can do about that.

I'm definitely ready for more Meteors now!

Lovely work Narayan, I think most of us who took part in this GB are going to do another Meteor. I hope you got some happy snaps whilst in the tub  cockpit for future reference. ;-)

Er, not entirely sure why anyone would want to see pictures of me in a Meteor but here we go.

First of all the cockpit itself:

Amd finally yours truely. I did say it was just the cockpit :ha:

Lovely cushion....

I wanted to see photos not so much of you, as the cockpit interior. ;-) :ha:
