While I'm in the back blocks of New Zealand, there's a chance I can pick up the now out of production Black Magic variant of the Airfix Comet. If I do, I'll blitz it next weekend, since its a quick enough blitz that I can still spend time with my family.

I can't let a Blitzbau go by without building anything so I'll hopefully be getting something on the bench sometime this weekend, possibly a Matchbox Mustang.

Well that does it for me, I'll be a no-show this time.

I had finally picked a victim, checked my paints, made a small plan, but ....

I'm on a couple non-modeling projects that will eat me up all week and I'll spend all day Saturday traveling to/from and attending a funeral .... best I can do modeling all week is time-slice through my Ted Taylor GB kit and the CBK Telford stuff ....
John Ratzenberger :???:
It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

No worries, John. Real life is more important and August is a difficult month.

I'm hoping to blitz three kits this last week. Brave words.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

That is correct with the exception of the "Blitz House."

I really, really want to fit one more build in. Looks like late Friday night to Saturday. Or start early Friday, leave off for the evening and resume Saturday morning.

That would be local time, correct?

I might still be able to fit in a 3 hour build on Sunday after I get back from Vegas.

Whoops, no, that will be the first. I am off on the 2nd for Labor Day but that is September. Guess I will miss out after all.

Ah, I was hoping Sunday would be included as it's the weekend, and as the February blitz was extended a few days into March.

I'm afraid the Bearcat will be my last blitz then.

Durn, I wish I'd read these last postings afore now. I might have been able to get organised to squeeze one more in. At least I got one done. Content to have done so.
Roll on the next blitz.
I shall be organised, but there again, probably not.
