That's probably when I'll build my Battle Tank Hurricane.

Great. Nothing like having good company. I will be breaking every Blitzbau rule there is this time.

Great news. Better get the Parmo's on order then.

Not sure what I will do, I have a few candidates.

I will also try to do at least one solo run just to warm up. 8-)

So, my Comet blitz started when I got home from a busy Saturday out and my wife said "why don't you relax with an hour or two of model making". Next thing I've decided to pull out the kit and blitz it and, most surprisingly, finish it.

I still plan to do a blitz on the 31st. On looking at the Dekno Falcon again, too much could go wrong with an all resin kit a and it's not one I want to rush. I think I'll build the Special Hobby Lockheed Electra instead. Still very challenging, but I think more manageable.

I think we're in trouble this time. The quality of builds so far has been absolutely amazing. I'm actually scared to start mine now as I have some serious standards to meet....

Jeff's build is far out!
But I agree, all has been really good, and completed in such a short time! I like the unusual subject like Shaun the Sheep made by Splash. I had to go on YouTube and shaun my way through the funny sheep afterwards.

The bar is set now. I'm nervous as well. Need to improve on my next blitz. As I always seem to have decal trouble with my blitzes I should probably have a go at Blücher.

Friday I'm off to Malaga, Spain for a eight day holiday.
I plan on doing three blitzes the last week of August. But I need four to break my record. Famous last words.
Hope there's gonna be lots of blitzes to read through when I get home.

Here we are at the half way point and we have seven completions. Not to bad for an August Blitzbau. It's summer and holiday, it's a difficult month.

Appreciate everyone's efforts to date.

OK. I'm going ahead with a very quick build. totally undecided as to which of my candidates to attack as yet. I've taken a couple of sprue shots already though and going to have a cup of Coffee and decide. BRB.

All the best.

Well, I was going to do a second blitz but I've decided it's a bit unfair on my other half to come back from overseas and almost immediately bury myself in styrene for a whole weekend, given I've already successfully blitzed a comet. I'll keep the intended victim for February's blitz.

Look forward to seeing what others come up with in the closing weeks of this blitz. 8-)

I am all at sea on this one; I don't have a victim handy and even less time to butcher it.
I'm still hopeful, but ....

I hope to fit in another. I'm glad I got one done last week. I had thought I'd be free from Tuesday this week till the weekend - wrong, demands on my time. Looks like I may have some time next Monday or Tueday though.

I might not have time to build the PT Boat. Working today and tomorrow then back to the coast on Friday. Home for work Tue/Wed/Thu night shifts. Then it's the weekend before the little Ians go back to school and we still need to get some uniform bits and pieces.
We were planning to have ended our camping trip yesterday but as the weather has been kind we're extended by a week. I've left Mrs. Ian and the little Ians in the tent at the coast while I work these 2 day shifts. As such, the Blitz will suffer.

Might have to save it for February.
