Sissels Israeli Ouragan + kittens alert ** FINISHED **
Re: Sissels Israeli Ouragan + kittens alert ** FINISHED **
That poor cat is going to be blind soon if you don't stop taking flash photos of it.
Imagine that, rescued from the wild only to be blinded!
But she's very cute, so I can understand all the pics.
Was there a model here somewhere? Oh yes, that looks nice too. But not as nice as the cute little kitty cat!
Good job, Sissel. Another great Blitz!

Thanks guys!
It's very soft blitz and there's no close up pics. Many of the photos I took are very much zoomed in from a distance! Especially those where they are facing me.
The one with the orange cat was zoomed in lots, same with the one at the stairs, and the one with two kitties playing together.
Another important thing, there is only three pictures with soft blitz (those I just mentioned), and different cats facing that blitz, so just one soft blitz pic of each cat, absolutely no harm there.
I don't use normal blitz (I'd rather not use blitz at all) taking photos of cats, as I know if you overdo it they actually can go blind, but then you have to take a large amount of pics in a short time, which is extremely unlikely to happen. Would be like us staring at the sun all the time!
Speaking of blind cats. Many, many years ago our Tasseline got five lovely and sweet kittens. Two of them were blind and also died about a week after birth. That was so sad.

Great work on the blitz and even better rescuing the kittens. I wish I could adopt one of them, My cat Tigger passed away a few months ago and I would love to have another furry friend. Blitz would make an awesome name for one of them.
All the best.

Thanks guys!
Happy to announce kitten story is now a happy and closed chapter. This is why I love Facebook, news travels fast!
All three of them now have a good home with a loving family, a dog (mix border collie and elkhound) and an adult angora cat.
It appears these kittens are part angora from a mixed breed. No wonder they were so fluffy and soft!
Here's a few pics I took earlier today, just to close off this highly unusual blitz thread!
Miss them

Great ending to the story of the kittens. You did a fine job there. There are so few good news stories these days, it is heartening to know there has been a happy ending.

AWWWWW. Bless you Sissel. You did a wonderful thing. I have to admit I wouldn't have been able to give them away. They are adorable. That's it. I'm officially looking for another furry friend.

That's where my daughters bought their kitten from. Vaccinated, desexed and micro chipped for $75. He was purchased under protest mind, but they have a way of sucking you in with their soft fur and big eyes and cute little meows.PaulBradley wrote:Check out your local shelter, Greg - always lots of deserving kitties there.

I know what you mean, Greg. When they are so little and cute it's hard to let go. But when you know you never could keep them, for several reasons, then letting them go is the only way. I'm also a little allergic, lots of atscho and itch the last days.Gregers wrote:AWWWWW. Bless you Sissel. You did a wonderful thing. I have to admit I wouldn't have been able to give them away. There's an overflood of dumped cats, many are wandering outside, some are in temporary foster homes, shelters are full. Posting this on the local animal protection site on FB, new posts with found cats kept coming in all the time. So pure luck these kittens got a home.
