Thanks for the song, Ian. But I do hope I am forgiven. :ha:

Chris, you might be right.
But the underwing wheels are wrong way as well. All stuck in with superglue. I'll see if I can nudge them off.
The nose wheel strut is kinda weird. I must say I haven't checked any online photos of this aircraft. Instructions aren't the best so I didn't quite know how to put the struts on/together. There's two pieces.
Seeing pictures now the nose wheel strut is completely wrong. Must have been wrong in the kit? It just looks weird. Anyway I might leave as is.

Had breakfast!

Went to check on the kittens, they're so lovely. Fed them and they immediately ran to the bowl. They must have eaten lots during the night as I left it full before bedtime.

This orange fella is impossible to touch, poor thing is so scared. He just stairs at me from a distance and if I get closer he runs.

The garage (originally an old barn) is a nice warm place, and there's a loft as well. I've seen them running up and down there. And playing with eachother. Aww....

In a while when I've woken up, I'll begin decalling.

Look at this - a Blitz update with food, cats and music.
Is there any modelling going on? Who cares, we have cats!

Excellent progress with the Orangutan, very well done, especially as I wasn't expecting you to Blitz 3 Wildcats at the same time...

Nice Ouragan. Be a shame to get rid of those kittens too.

Wooo!
After checking photos more carefully I am pleased to say all wheels are facing the correct way! So no need to fix anything.
Only the lower part of nose strut was put on wrong, otherwise all is nice.

I've begun decalling. The shark mouth takes lots of microsol but conforms nicely. I've got one mouth on.

I've painted the nose doors. Getting closer now...

Great to see the cats are doing well, the model is coming on nicely too, good that the wheels were right anyway.

For names how about Israel, Dassault and Ouragan.......or Issy, Dassy and Gan....oh dear I better stop there!

Sorry but I'm afraid I can't. But I want to, atleast one of them. The first I brought home. Cause she's all cuddly and loving and adorable and... I'll stop.

I have to say these decals are excellent! Probably the best I've ever worked with!
They are thin but damn strong. Tons of microsol and I can still move them with no problems. The shark mouths has gone on lovely!
Just a few seconds in water and they are ready. With one of the shark mouths I forgot, and it was floating freely in the bowl. I was worried it would crack or curl. But I lifted it up with a tweezer and put it on with no problems. So strong that when I held it it didn't curl.
Also noticed some supporters I had forgotton to put on landing gear, so put them on.

Just need to let microsol settle down, then put nose doors on, then matt cote, then off to the hairdresser, and pictures when I get home. Should be well finished before 4pm.

I think this song is suitable now given Ouragan means Hurricane.

Mattcote dried fast so I'm finished!

I've been enjoying this blitz lots. This is a lovely kit with FANTASTIC decals! I can't praise them enough.
I will certainly buy Valom kits again due to the decals, photo etch and resin. Fit is so so. Instructions aren't very good though, so guessing occurs. And no pin holes.

Thanks to all who have watched and commented. You guys make the blitz thread alive and more fun. So thanks and cheerio!
