OK lets see. 6 hours into this project and I have the lower surfaces paint on. Tamiya Sky to simulate the late Luftwaffe RLM Sky color.

Image

The painting is going to take awhile. Knew that going in. I will carefully mask now to add the bare matel panel on the rear part of the wing and a portion of the fuselage. In the backgrond is the propeller/airscrew.

Breaking for a brew: Coors light and if that goes down well a Pale Ale.

Oh.....I listening to the Moody lues Time Traveller. Their first boxed set.

Have a sudden burst of energy. Some venison bits with cracker and a Coors Lite chaser. Yum Nummy.

Image

I feel like I am back on track with this project. Time to get blitzing.

I have the undersurface done. Tamiya Flat Aluminum for the bare metal and Tesotrs Steel 1180 for the individual panels.

Image

RLM 76 added to control surfaces and parts that theoretically been from Fw190D's etc .

Lets get a move on.

Interesting snack, Jeff. I'm sure it tastes better than it looks. I love biscuits and cheese together along with wine. :)

Well done on the undersurface!

4:00PM update. That makes 10 hours on the mark.

Painting is completed. Games is almost over so will gloss it up and prepare for decals. Heard some rather discouraging remarks about hobby boss decals. I did the Rafale' for the Tiger meet group build and they went on OK with liberal coats of Future. Not to many to put on however. Pictures I have seen do not show much in the line of stenciling.

Making another run to the fridge, Sissel.

That is going very well Jeff. Is the paint scheme complicated?

Yeah. Kinda stubborn at times. Couple of locations was "back and forth" with colors. It is getting there.

Another Blitz I've missed the majority of. I really must stop going out on Sundays.
Looking great, Jeff.

Yep, I missed all the action (and venison) too. Looks like a good build Jeff. The HB decals are a bit delicate if you push them around too much. Finesse called for :)

Yes, I hope you've learned your lesson!

The Wulf looks ace. Splendid work, and fun to watch.

Hour twelve and decaling is completed. Going to let it set up a bit to cure. Decals went on without a hitch so am very pleased with that. Dull coat is next and than mount the last few bits.

Should be finished soon (he boldly states).

Very nice, I really like the paintwork. Decals going on smoothly is a big bonus, they didn't for me and lost me a load of time.

Nice one. Great result so far and the finish line in sight. Wonderful stuff.

All the best.
