24hours gone and so we have to call it finished. This morning has been a nightmare, if it could go wrong it has, and of course no time to correct things. Now time to go and watch the cricket.

Looks ok from where I sit. That mottle really is a very good finish for a brush.

I think you've done great, D'man!
The mottling looks good as well.
And this is your first blitz. Feel like another in a while?

If you'd asked me 2 hours ago the answer would probably be 'no!'. But now, well I think I am almost ready to go again.....almost!

I am hoping that I will get a chance to do another towards the end of the month, I do not think I will get a chance before then. However it will probably be a HobbyBoss easy build kit - I have 2 in the stash. I know this kit wasn't that difficult, and others do more difficult than this, but I found it quite demanding, but I did enjoy every minute of it, and learnt a lot as well. I see you are aiming to do 6. Now that is a challenge, I hope you achieve it, I shall be watching with interest.

Great job on your first blitz. I have almost always gone with something easy and painted one color. Doing the mottling by brush really brought back some memories for me.

Nice one. A good result mate.

All the best.

It would be interesting if you could tell us what problems you encountered in the last few hours and how you solved them - helps us all to learn. It sure looks like you did well !

Great application of mottle with a brush - especially for a blitz!

Well done! I was toying with trying to blitz an Albatros with fuselage wood effect but you've reminded me that block colours are the less stressful way to go
