I'll take it as well squire, that doesn't look bad. Keep going at this rate and you should bag a finish in your first blitz
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Well I think that looks really great. You'll finish in no time now.

A beer with a whisky chaser would help, particularly with painting the canopy frames eh?Prisca wrote:Well I think that looks really great. You'll finish in no time now.

I think before the day ends a drop of the hard stuff might not go amiss. This has been more demanding than I imagined. Great fun, but I am tiring a little now.

Sissel puts all of us men to shame D'Man. She can drink and blitz like a professionaldespondman wrote:I think before the day ends a drop of the hard stuff might not go amiss. This has been more demanding than I imagined. Great fun, but I am tiring a little now.

Re: despondman's FW190
Apologies that the last photo of day isn't that good. Started but didn't quite finish the decals. Had a decal disaster, so now we have no. 4 rather than no. 11 - never mind! So tomorrow its up bright and early to add the landing gear, canopy, bomb and 3 more decals, then a final coat of matt varnish. I should just about make it.
Thanks to all who have viewed, and especially those who have commented - much appreciated.

Re: despondman's FW190
You have lots of time. Some decals on from yesterday I see. This is going really great and the model looks good as well.

Re: despondman's FW190
That's a nice breakfast to go along with a nice model. You've done really really well with the mottle. I know how hard it is with a hairy stick. 3 hours should see you home and dry - as long as you don't do anything silly like dropping it on the floor.
Go go go!
Go go go!
