:ha: I needed supplies to feed the kids. Dear daughter has been awake for nearly four hours not & requires another meal. This is all eating into my model time. (no pun intended )

I ised a rattle can to get a coat of black on the underside.

Whislt that dries I am working on the canopy & prop.

Another knock on the door turned out to be the postie with an anniversary present:

Do you think she will like it? :ha:

Gotta go now, dinner is just about done.

Thanks guys. I have started putting the brown on the top side but am having a few problems with my air brush.

Never mind at least one very thin coat is on.

I am off to play some footy with the boy now so I will call this 12 hour stint to a close. I will post some pictures once the paint has properly dried. Thanks for the company guys, it makes it a lot more fun with you lot onboard.

If I remember I will take a picture of my curry later. :-D

Pasty is very big around here. Many Cornish (we call them "Cousin Jack's") landed here to work the Iron Ore mines years ago. They would heat the pasty on a shovel while underground in the mines.

I love 'em and can't get enough. Many towns around here have sections called Cornishtown as clustered together by Nationality.

Great work on this OT! Just got back from holiday yesterday so today is a day where I wash clothes etc. and relax in the garden with a book. Was splendid coming home to summer.
But I will try to follow you later today.

Here we go for round two.

Image

Just to recap, this is where I got to after the first 12 hours. Asembly is complete, model primed, underside painted black, top side painted RAF Dark Earth.

Been having a few issues with my airbrush so I have spent the morning giving it a good clean, If it is still not working I will use a brush.

So next up:
  • Finish masking the canopy & attach.
    Assemble the prop.
Assemble the under carriage & paint.
Cut out a paper mask for the camo pattern & spray on the green part of the camo.
Lets see how it goes. :)

Oh, music for today:

This should blow the cobwebs away. 8-)

Glad you could join me Jeff.

Things are moving along but a bit tedious. I decided to try paper masks for the camo which I think will work out fine but it takes forever to cut & stick them. I should have used a brush instead. Still, too late now.

This is where I was about an hour ago:

Image

I have done a bit of shopping & watched a bit of TV with the kids so I am not really that slow.

Image

I guess I will get better at this with practice. Now green paint:

Image

Lets hope its ok. Blitzbau is probably not the best place to experiment is it?

More paint now then reveal. :-|

On the cd player:

Wish me luck.
