Look away now all you Vegetarians.
This is apparently what Chefs that teach healthy eating have for dinner
That would be a battered cod plus a deep fried burger & curry sauce look like
I went for the standard fish & chips.
I need a cider now.
Plastic pounding continues. The underside of the Mustang has had a coat of Humbrol 76 which is drying & Cosmic has got some primer on the Be-4. Further than I thought he would get.
Finnski was going to join us tonight but has just rang to cancel. He is knackered having spent all day working on a 1:1 scale armoured train!

Re: The Blitzbau House is back ** Up & Running **
Sorry for the delay in posting. We are watching movies & having a little drink.
I got another grey coat on the underside of the P-51
Also painted the spinner & under cart.
First coat of Klear on too. I think a second coat will be needed.
Cosmic has his second wind now and is painting the underside blue.
Its all going too well.
Must be time for a Parmo.

I'm glad I'm not working on that Be 4 effort, jeez Cosmic has his work cut out with that and is doing a good job of making it have it. The P-51 looks like a luxury kit in comparison and is coming on very well. The food is a cracker. Especially the deep fried burger/fish/curry sauce concoction. So good to see proper grub being eaten. No wuss stuff for you boys in the Further Up North Than Me I'm pleased to see
And it's parmo o'clock eh? I'm sure it won't be a ladeez portion OT

What interesting food choices. Eating food like that just has to take precedence over model building, even in a Blitz!

Sorry guys no Parmo yet, just another coat of Klear on the 'tang.
The Be-4 has a blue bottom (add your own jokes here... )
I got the Bazookoids assembled:
Shiny, shiny.
Now I, am off for a Parmo.

Great stuff, there should be no silvering with the decals on that 'stang - it's shiny enough to shave in! Sorry but I can't think of any bottom jokes suitable for a family orientated forum. More beer cans in shot than models - that's proper blitzing
Have a great Parmo - don't forget the photo of course

The Mustang looks great and I admire Cosmic's patience with that Be-4. I'd have taken one look at it and put it back in the box.

The Parmo has landed:
I think we are calling it a night as far as modelling goes. Cosmic is asleep again, he has been awake for a few hours now.
The Be-4 is wearing a camo scheme.
So good night all. Will be back at it in a few hours.

Re: The Blitzbau House is back ** Awake **
Not exactly bright eyed & bushy tailed but we are back at it.
I am on to the decaling. I was a little worried about these yellow stripes folding over the tail edges but so far so good.
Breakfast is served
Time for a cuppa.

Re: The Blitzbau House is back ** Awake **
I reckon we should do a calorie-counting exercise on your food and drink intake for the 24 hours of your Blitz. How scary would that be?
That Be-4 is an odd beastie. Looks a bit like a 1:144 Catalina fuselage with a 1:72 Pe-5 front end as the wing.
At least the P-51 looks normal.
Keep it up guys!

Re: The Blitzbau House is back ** Awake **
The P-51 is probably the only thing that does currently look normal in the Blitzbau House Ian
Morning lads, good to see you up and at 'em. Good looking brekkie too, much better than my buttered toast!
