Re: Sissels Fourth Cat ** Wednesday 28th **
No worries, I will play tonight. Just organised a new trip, only losing one prepaid flight, as this trip goes on the same day but we come back two days later than the other.
So it's 16 lovely days at Cuba! I can't wait.
Now I need to get rid of this headache, and boy am I tired. But a blitz WILL happen tonight.
Stay tuned.

Great news and that sounds like a great trip to Cuba. Report please when you return.

Okay, I finally got a start on this. I'm really thirsty so there will be quite a few beers tonight.
Since pic was taken all I've done is painted a few bits.

Mmmm that german beer was insanely good, need to get more of it.
Round 2 update.
Nothing exciting. Painting bits, interior, seat, pilot. Wheels done.
A bit surprised with the little flash on the kit. Major flash on the canopy though, did some careful trimming. Need to get another beer. Headache is back.

Re: Sissels Fourth Cat ** Started **
So.. when I finally start the blitz everybody disappears?
Got the fuselage together. There's minor gaps along the wing and upper fuselage joints so a small amount of filler is needed here. Otherwise fit seems good.
Few parts on this kit. Fewer than I thought. So far no problems. Will let the glue dry for a while. Started painting canopy frames, cleanup with toothpick needed.
This blitz isn't much fun so will see how long I bother before bedtime, am really tired and not in the mood for modelling at all.
And I'm afraid of the dark, for real!

It is what keeps me going right now. Well, along with the brandy and liqour chocolates.splash wrote:Off to a great start with the beer then
Large cracks at canopy pieces. I've not sorted it the best way, but I was lazy...
Supper.
Prop and raketter, must remember to put decals on this before I put it to model.
Got the wheel gear on.
An overview. Never mind the blue paint spill on the bench. That's my clumsy attempt at closing the lid of the revell blue BEFORE putting it's lid content into the box. Just happened before pic was taken.
Waiting for stuff to dry, then I will put rockets on and start painting, if I haven't fallen asleep trying.
