Sometimes the talent consists exactly in that: try five dozen times when others stop at three dozen...! (F.Labelle)
I think that modeling is a subtle mix of zen philosophy and absolute crazyness - but in my case I would not dare to specify the respective percentage of each......

Markh's Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat. (monogram 1:72).

EDIT: Build thread here: https://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=20737;

I've listed it in 1950s because the Tigercat was too late to see service in WW2, but was around for the Korean War and in the 1950s. Thus completed this morning.

Thank you Paul! I’m very pleased with this build, the painting especially as it was my first all gloss finish! Using a primer is essential for a good finish. That colour is hard enough but a coat of primer meant that the model only needed two coats of glossy sea blue rather than 3 or 4.

Thank you, yes I’m very pleased with that, very clean lines and shiny paint! A treat to look at and looks fantastic in the cabinet.
