Another coat of matt varnish went on today, so I'm going to call this one "Finished" :grin:

Nice work! Although having gone through this thread, I'm thinking twice about the one I've just ordered off eBay! I'm more of a OOB builder, and so long as it looks OK I'm not hugely fussed!

I did build one of these with the cut-down fuselage a while back, and have recently stripped it and begun a repaint into the colours of an aircraft used in the film "Malta Story".

The Heller Spit XVI, although still flawed, is a much nicer kit. Airfix should produce their own version - with both high- and low-back!!

Well done Andrew, it certainly made you work hard. Made me aware of what to watch for on mine. I think it can stay in pile a while longer.
