Re: Ians Panzer II
Those figures look very good. Not easy to paint convincingly in that scale.

After the detail that you've brought out in those figures... I'll be interested to see how you will weather the Panzer...

Re: Ians Panzer II
Probably not as well, Reinhold. The Matchbox figures are well made and are quite simple to paint. They only seem to need a wash and some drybrushing to make them come to life.

Very nice job of those figures Mr Zippy
If it was my model, I would make sure of all of the vehicle's track surfaces were painted as it looks odd with the sand and dark coloured patches. Tell me to shut up if you want to.............

Re: Ians Panzer II
Awesome Ian,
I built mine a while ago and it looks nowhere near as good, especially the figures!
Justin!

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?
Re: Ians Panzer II
You're dead right, Shaun. The tracks were all covered in a mattcote/chalk dust mix and it did cover the whole lot. Unfortunately some of if has flaked off, leaving the dark patches you now see. It will be repaired once I have finished painting the upper hull.ShaunW wrote:Very nice job of those figures Mr Zippy

Is there a strange bond developing between the two of you?
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

It's Saturday, you have no excuse, yes go buy it now! Instead of sniffing paint painting today, I'm going to attend an exotic food festival.

Re: Ians Panzer II
I bought paint today!
And finished the painting.
Whilst that is drying I've painted the soldiers boots.
Once the H83 is dry I can Klear and add the decals in prep for matt cote and weathering.

Excellent Ian and I do like those figures as well. Is Hu83 a good sniff then?, I prefer liquid poly myself
