Last ones ....

As you can see, this is not a precision flight team being refueled .... but it's about the best I can do with it.

I solved the 4-hands-plus issue by taking it in steps. First a dab of superglue inside the drogue, then paint the probe with accelerator, then stick them together & hold for a minute. I had to do some tricky stuff up on the ladder to adjust the way they hung, but it's still not right depending on the angle .... Oh, well .... And unfortunately the 24th scale Hurricane is in the background, not the foreground, or it would look very air-show-ish ....

The journey wasn't all fun, but once arrived, I'm quite happy ....

Well I'm impressed, anyway. Don't think my wife would be if I tried to pull the same stunt though...........

That's a great effort John and I really like the finished result. Mrs W would hang me out to dry though if I tried a similar dio in chez W. I can picture the scenario now "just putting some pins in the ceiling dear to hang some models from..." light the blue touch paper... :ha:

Glad you've used a screw-in hook. Drawing pins would struggle.
And despite your concerns, it looks brilliant!
I'm a mostly full-time modeller put a part-time poster....

Looks very cool, John!

I hung my Airfix Vulcan from the ceiling about 10 years back - it fell during the night once, gave us all a heart attack...... Yours look much more secure though.
