Tonys' Sun Worshiping Skyservant**DNF**
Following Tim and Ian's' lead, I'm gonna build the Skyservant in all its nekkid glory and straight OOB. Also, it'll be a nice comparison to Paul's' Skyservant. I had already started a thread, which is listed below. Looking to make a start on this later on tonight after work.

Re: Tonys' Sun Worshiping Skyservant
Made quite a bit of progress on the kit. It's nearly complete, less windows and decals. Amazing how fast things go when you dont worry about painting, interiors and such. Super glue also helps quite a bit. Also, it's nice every so often to build like we did as youths. Pics will have to wait, as my daughter has taken over the computer and I must wait my turn.

This is quite a nice kit and you have to love Matchbox's red plastic because red features so prominently on the actual aircraft colour schemes...
If you were going to paint it, I found mine should have been washed as the white acrylic paint cracked quite badly once it dried.
Nice work too.

If you saw how the joints and seams look, you wouldn't be surprised why...PaulBradley wrote:

Re: Tonys' Sun Worshiping Skyservant
These Skyservants must not want to be built. I finally got the windscreen to fit halfway decent. But the decals just disintegrated on me. First time that's happened to me. Lesson learned to clear coat old decals before trying to use them. I have the German markings from the kit still, so I'll try that. Otherwise it's off to the spare decals.

Re: Tonys' Sun Worshiping Skyservant**DNF**
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish this. It all came down to the decals. I didn't have any suitable replacements and could not save the remaining original decals. At least I finished one of my two builds for this group build, so it's not all that bad.
