Hi Greg,

Was that last comment on your prevous post directed at me? If so thanks, that'd be great!

I've also ordered an eduard PE set and masks...this is total spur of the moment stuff, I'd never even thought of building a T-6 until I looked at OTs thread this morning... At least I know who to blame if it goes wong...

Regards.

Hi Stu.
Yep it was, sorry. I messed up with the quote thingie. I'll try and get there tomorrow or Thursday but either way I will be there some time this week as I'm delivering there Saturday and there is a Jeep rally there this Sunday and I am going to take my camera there to get pics of WW2 Jeeps and anything else of interest.

Can anyone tell me anything about the AT-6 that was used in the movie Reunion at Fairborough? It was DG/DE/Trainer yellow in the movie.

Tried Google Images but could not get a good search pattern.

I seem to have a problem as regards making models with French markings.
Is there a cure ;-)
As an aside does anyone what yellow is used for the French t6s? Is it trainer yellow?

I am in luck. I have sorted an entire Monogram AT6 out of many scraps. Copyright 1979 vintage. Sorting out markings now.

I'm considering this...

I have one of these:

And I have been known to occasionally do this:

Yep, that is me flying from the back seat.

But the problem is I'm only going to be in the same town as the model bench for 12 days in the month of September. Not nearly enough to finish anything...

Actually I like this paint scheme but I bet this will pose quite a few challenges for you. Gonna be a fun build to watch. I thought it was cool that MPC included ground crews in these kits.

I intend to do two Airfix Harvard's, one in the yellow trainer scheme, the other as an Israeli Air Force fighter. As always there are problems to overcome, I will have to make my own decals for the IAF kit, and I am also missing a canopy from one kit. :???: If only life was simple............. ;-)

12 days is lots of time, especially if you work on one model only.

Hi Folks.
Sorry I have been scarce. Life getting in the way unfortunately. I'm still on for the build with probably an Israeli Harvard/Texan as my first build.

All the best.

Sorry for being away for six days. I had to invade the British capital, and I really didn't want to go home. :-D
But here I am so will catch up with the threads really quickly, and hope to begin my build in a few days after things settle down.
