Ah, wished I had seen this earlier. I have several of the Academy and Heller kits in the stash. Even had somebody here (I think) send me some smoke rockets for the Korean War Mosquito version. also have plans to convert one into a Tora, Tora, Tora Zero. Oh well, recouping from minor surgery and then another trip this weekend so looks like I will pass this time. but I will be ready for T-6 II.

Hi, Phil.
I hope your surgery went well and you will recover fully soon. T-6 II might happen, never know. There's always the possibility of starting your own thread in the aviation forum later for us to follow. The Academy T-6 is a great little kit.

With one week left we have six finishers. Not bad.
If I had another T-6 in my stash I would have done an all yellow(!) version as well, in Norwegian markings. I really enjoyed the Academy and might get hold of another.

Cheers, John.

Yes this is finished now and everyone has completed their models.
As far as Greg goes, I am pretty sure he got a fair bit done with his model/s, but real life intervened. And with the camera accident I don't think he'll be able to upload any pics here the coming days.
I think you can archive this, but I've PM'ed him in just case he can upload pics.

Can I send out a big thanks to the Moderators for organizing this GB & giving us the odd nudge along the way.
I know loads more about the AT-6, it's history & use than before. I am inspired to build another now, probably the Academy kit so thanks guys.

Great effort everyone. Lots of wonderful builds, and a nice variety in air forces!

OT, the Academy kit is fantastic. You wont be disappointed if you build it. :)
