Bad luck that real life was getting in the way, seems a lot of us are having that problem at the mo!

Looking good though :) I normally like to weather my planes too but thought maybe since they were trainers a lot of the time thought maybe they'd be better looked after? :???: Looks like I didn't do my research properly either and followed Airfix's painting guide which was wrong and so my ailerons are the wrong colour  Not sure that I'll be changing it though - it might do more harm than good

A top job and the fact that we've made ours a little different despite doing the same colour scheme is great

I had not noticed your aileron colour until you mentioned it.
I have lots of pictures of these SAAF Harvards (Texans?) & there is a plenty of variety in colours considering it is a 'Standard' scheme. Some are clean, others very worn & dented. Who know what those student pilots get up to? Some have grey anti-glare panels, most black & some none; some have silver engine cowls so it is entirely possible that (at the time the instructions were written) the ailerons were painted. There are also at least three different aerial\antenna setups & two canopy configs. I always try to find a picture of my subject

Back to my kit. Last night I got the wing aerial on after I snapped it off. Stencils on & a final coat of klear.
The prop is ready to go on & maybe a matt spray before final pics.

Images soon I promise (unless life interfears again!).

This is looking great, OT!
A really colorful scheme, can't go wrong with it.

Waiting for the final images. :)

Sorry for the delay. It is finished, I just need some time to take the pics.
Was dealing with a sick daughter last night so never got to it. :frown:

The chickens should be arriving today. 8-)

Great job, OT!
Really like the pic taken from the side. I have to give that scheme a go sometime.
