A few beers inbetween frames might help with the fun.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been dealing with a broken boiler the last couple of days. Still no hot water. Anyway I have made some progress.

I got the pilot painted & installed. Sorry, forgot to take any pics.

I masked the canopy eventually & painted the frame work interior green. It was at this point that I realised the canopy fit was awful. It met at the front but looked like it came from a different kit at the back end!
Anyway after a few hours work I got it attached. 8-)

So next up I covered the lights & engine then applied a coat of primer.

I always feel like its getting somewhere once a coat of paint goes on.
So after leaving it overnight I got a couple of coats of silver on.

So that's where I am up to. Now to plan some masking.

Sorry about the boiler. It's a good thing you didn't have an 'Ian-day' while working on it.

Texan coming along great, and it looks like you won that fight regards canopy fit. Looks good.

Thanks for the comments all. The silver should shine up nicely under a coat of klear. I hope to experiment a little tonight spraying orange paint. :???:
