Looks like you're making great progress there, Jeff.

As far as the paint and airbrush probs go, I think most of us have been there at one time or another

Your dark earth looks great!

Great build so far Jeff. Nice one.
Nice one Splash. I have been meaning to do another build of Gary Numan's T6, this may just spur me on.

All the best.

Back at it. Never did three GB's at the same time before. At any rate lots of good progress last night.

Out with the 3x5 index card to make my "finishing touches" list. I sourced out the decals and at first was not pleased with their reaction to plastic, paint, Future. But this morning everything looked much better. To my eyes anyway. So a dull coat was put on, just enough for a satin type finish.

Smooth! That looks stunning to me. And the decals look fine.
After all these yellow ones (and mine will be half yellow as well) it's nice to see a camo T-6. Great job, Jeff.

Three GB's at one is impressive. Surprised you haven't posted progress in the wrong thread yet. :ha: :ha:

Superb work Jeff. Very nice build and paint and I agree about it looking good in cammo.

All the best.

Seems like forever on this one but will finally call it finished. Work has kicked up a notch with floods in Colorado and has kept me moving volunteers around. Not on any call up list myself as yet but kind of standing by. I feel a little poorly about the canopy as it is sectioned and the thickness of the plastic does not allow a smooth fit for the sliding pieces.

Any way, here she is.

The overall look it's really fine!
Nice work. ;-)

Never mind the canopy, it looks great!
And I'm happy to see a camo-painted one. You've done a great job, Jeff.
I hope the floods aren't too bad.

Great work Jeff!

Good going on doing 3 GB's all at once  I know if I'd tried doing that we would've ended up with 3 very weird looking planes where I'd put the wrong parts on the wrong planes

Don't worry about the canopy, the rest of your work on the plane easily outshines that and I really like the plane in camouflage!
