Hi, having meant to convert a Vampire using a Sea Venom fuselage I was rather happy when Airfix brought out their T.11, heard good stuff about it so should save me some converting hassle!. Will dig mine out of the loft and get ready!.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Pity I can't partake in this. I would have built one in Norwegian markings. Doh!
And I know it's a fantastic kit. I will get it next year.
I will be following the builds on here though!

Anyone got any thoughts on the nose weight? Obviously I'll pack the nose but is there anywhere else I can get away with putting some weight? Will it need it? I'll be using fishing weights packing them in with some filler which can add a bit of weight when it sets.

Is there room behind the cockpit area?. I appreciate it's getting close to the wrong end for weight but it might take a little extra.
P.S. Haven't started yet, been out all day and then to my mum's birthday meal!!!. :ha:

I'm kind of worried that behind the cockpit will be too far back.

As long as it's ahead of the centre of balance - where the main legs are - it'll help in some way. The further forward, though, the better...fulcrums and balances and all that.
