Ians Blood Sucking Starter Kit * * FINISHED * *
Yup, I bought the Vampire T.11 starter kit and I have already disposed of the paints and glue.
Having just completed my Matchbox Pz.II I have been able to clear the bench and start fondly fondling the plastic of this new tool. My first thoughts are Wow, this looks amazing.
All I have to do now it put it together and make it look good...

Like Blohm and Saxon, mine will also be in the New Zealand markings from the box!
It'll be good to compare the finishes.

Re: Ians Blood Sucking Starter Kit
So you're going to make a blood sucking kiwi? Interesting...
Will you use real blood?
Who's vampire teeth will you be using or borrowing?

This T-Rex scoffed at the idea of a Kiwi Vampire...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Hahaha, nice one, Simon!
I have made a small start by painting the interior parts. Black and aluminium - simple so far.
From the parts I have separated from the sprues, fit looks to be superb!
No pics. Not much to see at the moment.

Although there are no build pics, the Kiwi showing the T-Rex who's boss is amusing though!

I'll keep some space in the bin for your one, if mine doesn't mutate and eats it.

Ian, you're falling behind, when are you gonna start?
And we want pictures!

Re: Ians Blood Sucking Starter Kit
I know, I know.
I have started and I've been doing little bits and pieces. The interior is painted. Tape belts have been added. Nose weight is in. The booms have been assembled. Both have been filled and one has been sanded.
But as I'm working nights there are no pics.
Tuesday afternoon is the next chance I'll get.

Look - Pictures!!!!
Port side interior (with noseweight in place)
Starboard
Tub
Just need to paint round the HUDs
And then the booms and the intakes.
I just need to add the wheel then the fuselage can be closed up and I can make a start on getting the wings in place.
I do work on models. I'm just not the best at taking pics and posting them......
