Great work on this! :)
I also use tape to hold things at times, especially tail wings to have them dry in a certain angle. Put the tape from wings to rudder.
Then rubber elastic bands around fuselage have become a favorite.
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

Obvious questions welcome!! :ha: , as are stupid ones as long as you don't mind stupid answers! :ha:
Haven't invested in clamps as yet. Did have some but they were cheap and now dad has them!!!.
And as people always told me, better to ask an obvious or stupid question and look that way, than to remain unknowing and come a cropper!!!!!

Hi, here is my Vampire at it's current state. I had serious trouble with the Humbrol 209 orange, it just wouldn't take to the silver. I therefore used GW Blazing Orange and then tried the 209 over the top. It came out really well!!.

Nice one, Mark. The blazing orange looks to be a good match.
Glad to see you found the only spot on the windowsill with a coffee ring to take your photos against.

Thanks matey!!. Have also finished the Wasp (see elsewhere), thanks in no small part to your pics (and Gengriz's).

Oh by the way Ian, the coffee, sorry tea ring isn't the most embarrassing thing about the build. As I put the decals on I saw the two small probes on the horizontal tail were shown on the underside. Fools, I thought. Then I realised I had actually glued the tail on upside down and added the probes, all without realising through the whole rest of the build and painting!!

Great finish Marky, my wife wouldn't be impressed at one of her window sills being shown to all and sundry with a tea/coffee ring on it though! :ha: Upside down tail? I don't think anyone noticed, we're such experts on here you know :-D

Well done, Mark!
Fluo orange is a very difficult color, I find silver to be a good base for this. Yours look great. :)
I didn't notice any upside down tail either. Don't worry. Is this your first GB?
