The cockpit has been completed and the noseweight is in place.
The pod has been assembled and left to dry.
The booms have been attached to the tailplane, the main assemblies have been cleaned up ready for assembly and the yellow areas have been primed in white.

Glad to see you've left the intakes off. Be sure to let us know if they go on OK and fit better once the wing is on!

Fun fact: I have a Flying RC model of the vampire with yellow stripes.

Currently Building: FROG Wildcat, Fokker DR1 Red baron and some other things...

Re: Lancfan's Vampire Preservation Group T.11
Ian, the intakes are a lot easier to fit if the wings are attached first.
The airframe is assembled and the trainer bands are undercoated in white.
with the bands masked up the rest of the airframe was primed in grey.
The bands were next painted yellow.
The airframe was then painted in Revell Alliminium to represent HSS.
The decals, drop tanks & canopy came next followed by the undercarriage, the centre portion of the canopy, the antenaes on the booms and the tailpipe to complete the model.
