I always liked the shape of the Choctaw/Wessex. This should look good :)

And very good progress it is too Spearjig. That is a great looking cabin, this kit looks like it provides some nice detail.

I had one of these and gave it away - which I really regret now as part of my stash reduction protocol is not to re-acquire any model that I have disposed off...a stupid rule and I don't know who makes these things up...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Nice one Spearjig. I'm also a bit of a fan of the Choctaw/Wessex shape. The engine grills look like they would pose an interesting challenge to open up and back with mesh, sorry, I'm digressing and that's the sort of modelling madness I can become involved in and sometimes regret, so please ignore me

Don't let Shaun talk you into any "modifications" Spearjig :ha:

It looks great as it is.

Cheers

Yes it does. But maybe just a teeny weeny bit of mesh :ha:

This video might give you some inspiration, it's a mixture of Jolly Green Giant's and Seahorse's, there is a good part where it shows a JGG lifting a Seahorse engine and dropping it off at the down bird on the beach.

It's coming on a treat. A real peach of a kit and superbly put together.

I may have to slip one into the stash. ;-)
