Roger that dudes, I now know what chicken plate is. I don't envy anybody who had to hump that around, especially in a hot and humid country.

Last I communicated with Mr. Mills (about two years ago) he had been flying with the Oklahoma City Police Department I believe.
Would you, by any chance, happen to have some first hand knowledge of chicken plate and helos in a certain Southeast Asian country? Your reply does leave that impression.

Basic construction finished and a little white applied. Now, onto masking and the overall olive drab.

Basic construction completed. Now, for touch-up, decals and M-60 for the rear compartment.

BTW: The main canopy was a pain.

That looks great Chuck. What was the issue with the main canopy? the fit or the masking? or both!

Here is the completed Loach. Doors have been removed and a machine gun rests on the back seat waiting for the crew to go out and kick over some nests. The gun in the back was a leftover from a Dragon HMMWV kit and is as close to an M-60 as I could get..

Nice little chopper, did you have problems attaching the front canopy piece?

Great bit of modelling there. Not a big fan of choppers but I do like this one and your rendition of it. Get some!
