Ians Fragmented Phantom
Ians Fragmented Phantom
This kit was started for the Tigermeet GB and was never completed. It's been gathering dust on the bench for quite some time a this is a good opportunity for me to finish it off.
The kit (as it stands)
And the rest of the bits.
A quick rummage through the tub and it looks like I have the stabilisers, gear doors, exhaust nozzles and fuel tanks to go.
Shouldn't take long, should it?
First job is to get rid of all that dust!

Nice to see this one back on the bench, watch out for the stabilisers they are quite fragile when fitted.

That's the spirit! Prevarication instead of achieving anything. Although of course, you will be more enlightened after browsing this august forumIan wrote:I'm sitting here avoiding X Factor (which I have managed to do all this series!!!) and I am Facebooking, UAMFing and other stuff ing when I should really be sitting at the bench looking at what I need to be doing with the model.......

Re: Ians Fragmented Phantom
Well, I managed to move to the bench. It was a struggle but I made it without falling into the shark tank or getting shot by the poisoned darts. I really must talk to Mrs. Ian about all these booby traps. One day I am going to get caught out!
The gear doors are on now. Unfortunately to finish the painting I need to buy a tin of H86 as I found mine had dried out.
Luckily I have to drive past Hobbycraft later!

There's plenty of time Ian, no need to rush. Try a visit to Hobbycraft via the coast, I think the weather outlook is more promising today than yesterday

No rush Ian.
Don't want to finish it all at once.

I'd love to Shaun. Unfortunately the break from work ends at 19:00 so I have to get some sleep this afternoon. The first night is always the worst!

Panic over. Hobbycraft had the paint and it is now safely sitting at my desk in the dining room.
Sadly, I am now sitting at my desk in the office......
