Thanks Stuart. This is a 1/48th scale model. A scale that I'm getting much fonder of as my eyesight deteriorates 8-) .

Today didn't quite go as planned. Enforced sorting out of my daughter's financial affairs meant that the happy hours of relaxing model making I had envisaged for today (my day off) all evaporated  . I wasn't best pleased, to say the least, and my mood wasn't improved by the fact that this situation was entirely down to one "professional" organisation not keeping proper records and not communicating properly, or indeed at all, with others. .

Still, enough of my rant, I did manage some progress although it was quite a bit later than I'd hoped.

So what have I done today?

Well, basically, I chucked it all together and finished the Rufe :partytime:

OK, it wasn't quite a chuck together. There were a few lights to attach, the canopy to demask, the boarding ladder and prop to attach and an aerial wire was made from EZ line.

And this is what it turned out like.

That's a good looking model. The boarding ladder and beaching dolly would make it ideal for a diorama. :)

Cheers
